We carry a large variety of bulk seeds including beans, peas, onions, beets, radishes, turnips, carrots, spinach, kale, chard, lettuce, cress, mustard, cucumbers, squash, pumpkins, and more!
With our knowledgeable staff, we can give you all of the tips, tricks, and know-how to grow a thriving garden!
We have a combined 25 years of experience for in-house sharpening services. We do the standard things like lawn mower blades and chainsaw chains, hand pruners and loppers. We also do more specialized sharpening with carbide circular saws, hand saws, planers, chippers, chisels, knife honing (sharp enough to shave hair) and straight razor blades.
We re-screen windows and doors. We can replace and rebuild screens with bent frames and/or missing hardware. We will also install Pet screen that is far sturdier than standard screening if the customer has a problem with pets ripping through their regular screens. We will also manufacture screen windows to size for customers that have missing or no screens in their house.
We replace broken glass in windows of all types from old wooden sashes to new double insulated units. We have the product in-house to provide a contractor to do the jobs themselves or we will do the whole project ourselves. We also cut mirror and plexi glass. We also have access to tempered glass.
We still cut keys the old-fashioned way. We service housing contractors in the area who trust us with our key-cutting skills. We have the ability to do old locks and new locks for both entry doors and cars.
They are the best for helping customers with all kinds of hardware, canning, gardening, glass cutting, and many many other needs! If you can't find screws, nuts, bolts and other things, they will help! Best in the area!
Classic hardware store, great experience. The only place I called that had heat tape by the foot. I mentioned that it was the first time I've undertaken the project and they made sure I knew how to use the kit before leaving. Highly recommended.
Boltz is a true old-time hardware store and one of the few places you can still go to get parts and supplies for old houses, real windows, or canning food. Purchase a single nail or screw, get a small amount of seed for your garden, and grab a bag of that candy you thought no one made anymore. Plus, the staff is actually knowledgeable about their products and how to use them. They're my first stop whenever I'm hunting for parts or project supplies.
If you don't see what you're looking for, let us know and we'll get it for you.
